What is your greatest tip to other Pet Sitters?
"My best tip for other pet sitters is that you always have to be the alpha, the one in charge.
Dogs are pack animals and need to know who the leader is and stick to your rules.
Pet sitters should always have new dogs come for a meet and greet, I never mind a dog without firstly meeting them, this is good for both the dog, owners and us. As you're aware dog’s sense of smell is acute and they remember, if they return to be minded, coming to our home, they not just recall that you brought them before but that you also took them home. This strategy prevails when they are left to be minded. It isn't often I decline an offer to mind a dog but some of the reasons are: if the dog is aggressive or too big! This only occurs when the owner won't state the weight of the dog nor supply a photo with the initial request - these two pieces of information help me immensely, as a prospective sitter, in knowing the type and size of the dog involved."
Tell us a fun story from your pet sitting experience?
Well, my other story isn't really a funny story but a lovely one!
